What is the proper communist mindset, when one cannot figure out something? To have hope that the international proletariat and one comrades will figure it out?
For instance, I cannot for the life of me figure out how will the American communist revolution happen or if it will ever happen. And I have no idea how we can create a world in which narcissists and bigots will wither away since they are so powerful now under the current system.
So, if I cannot figure out something by myself, do I just have hope that someone else will be able to figure these out? Is that part of revolutionary optimism, to have the hope that if you cannot do something other comrades will be able to do it?

"how a revolution happens" is not something you figure out on your own. it is "figured out" by the practice of a revolutionary workers party

The method is to draw on historical experience, theory, and active practice through organizing. You apply dialectical materialism to your practice and your solutions, take a class analysis, and test things out in real life with your comrades, keeping your finger on the pulse that way.

Marx already figured out how and when a communist revolution happens.
T/(I*C)=R
Time (Communism is inevitable) immiseration of the working classes (people need to suffer to revolt) * Class consciousness (if there isn't enough class consciousness you might get a revolution but it will not be Communist) = Communist Revolution.
Your job is to increase class consciousness. The capitalists can't help but immiserate workers (because of the tendency for falling profits) but Class consciousness is only furthered by communists.
Read theory, Agitate, Organize, the rest is just a matter of time.

Hey comrade! Thanks for bringing that up
I have the same problems at times under threat of despair.
But as other comrades have pointed out. It is inevitable. We do our best, stay close to the principles and keep our head.
Look at the map of the largest trading partners worldwide. The map is already nearly fully red. We are in the endgame soon.
Only thing we need to figure out together is how to have capitalism not explode on impact.
Have you joined an ML party yet? If not, maybe do that.
