This is a pretty current podcast episode where he invites and supports a jordan peterson like reactionary who spreads disinformation, racism and all out hate against everything he deems "leftist".
I suppose Diesen is a conservative after all which helps with understanding how he could be so reactionary but I thought he otherwise made really apt points (mostly in the rus-uk conflict).
It gives me cognitive dissonance that someone can be so correct on one issue and HUGELY off in another.

Social conservatives who have found themselves at the wrong end, or dissatisfied, with US imperialism and have perceived material interests in their current takes. Hence "confusing" opinions or decisions. The smarter ones can, however, provide interesting insights (for westerners).
