Does Lemmygrad have an active Psychology Community?

If not, would it be possible to have one, please? Or even one specific to Jung or shadow work?

Western psychology is mostly imperialist bs. But aside from that, there probably is room for things like revolutionary psychology.

Most Western psychology ignores Jung. I don't think we should dismiss something just because it's Western. Although religion has always had an unholy alliance with politics, I do also see it as primitive attempt to address psychological malady. That said, I'd love to even hear revo psych, let alone learn from it.

Jung was also quite problematic.

I'm sure.

There is a book called revolution afaik. It was featured on proles pod.

I'm not sure if it is this: https://isj.org.uk/revolutionary-psychology/ but it was the first i could find rn. Would have to go to the episode which is awesome, btw.

I was a fan jung before i became a marxist. Havent reframed him yet.

And yes, I tend to blanket dismiss everything western because i need to balance the scales. Western ideology is cancer.

Needs to be understood in a wider sociological lenses that considers shit like ideology and its transmission thru structures (in this case, mental health treatment)

What exactly would you propose for us to discuss in this community? Would we discuss psychology theory or would we create a support group for our comrades with difficulties?

Theory, but a sister support community would also be great.
