I think I have disconnected from my generation - actually no, I feel lonely in fucking general. Wish I had at least a friend in real life to talk to, but I don't know why I don't wanna reach out.

what is your generation
anyway if you're a youth just enjoy it and be one with the zeitgeist, your time in the sun is a lot shorter than you think. Past age 32 or so you have to make a very concerted effort not to disconnect with what's going on, and in many ways it is just not worth it (has to be like, your entire thing).
Generations are made up and have no real world use. There's middle schoolers today that are book worms and into knitting or are luddites. Nothing about age groups is deterministic. You're feeling disconnected because our current conditions make it hard to connect, so change the setting and mode of how you reach out.

Exactly, generations and age don't really tell your full breath of experiences and knowledge. It is part because we are indoctrinated that age is what makes us intelligent and thus we stay with people that are close to our age.
It's time to look at the characteristics of the person not solely the generational or age compatibility. This is setting a false narrative where our world will become locked in because of our own naiveness.
The world is full of people with various of interests irrespective of age. If it didn't work out, then it's just the persons problem, not yours. Your interests didn't match their interests.

What made you conclude that? Did you hear the TeamSpeak narrator voice in your head say "Disconnected" or something?

Maybe try connecting with a different generation?
I tried here. Didn't exactly work out, heh...
