  This is an interesting little historical artifact I came across the other other day. The "Why We Fight" series was directed by Frank Capra (of "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington") working for the War Department (as it was called at the time) as an attempt to counter the Nazi propaganda film "Triumph of the Will," and to explain to soldiers what they were fighting for, as well as familiarizing them with the basic conditions that allied countries had experienced. ... read full post

This is for a party thing I'm doing, so I'm looking for something credible that's not just anti-communist propaganda (and also not just apologia, but that's less of an issue obviously). I've heard that the PDS published a whole book series, but I'm having trouble finding it. Can anyone point me at some books or texts? Entry to the Jewish state in Palestine was limited and selective, regardless of qualification. It didnt matter if the Jewish diaspora was in danger in Europe. Funds could have been used to save an additional 300,000 or 600,000 Jewish refugees before the Holocaust at the time but priority was given to the nation-building project of Isn'trael.
