Pseudohyndnum gelatinosum

I can never get good pictures of these in situ so you guys get the hand. I did prepare this for barcoding, which is probably not the most crucial thing to have sequenced but who knows haha

Tempus Fugit - 2mon

I've never seen this species before. Very cool find.

I wouldn't say they are super uncommon but they are very small, I only ever see 1 fruiting at a time and they are easy to miss. I'm not sure what the range is on these but this is from northern BC.

These are edible. I put some in a bowl of sugar to dehydrate them and they end up like gummy bears.

Getting shots on the ground with enough detail to be useful is a pain.

Any advice on setting up home barcoding setup? Been thinking about it for a while and will hopefully have some time to mess with it soon.

I am submitting these to a province wide project so I'm not doing the barcoding myself but I have watched Alan Rockefeller give a talk on doing it at home. I watched a different one a while back but this presentation looks like a good start too. I'd like to set something up at home but pretty short on time and cash at the moment.
