Funky guys I found in my last hunt.

I found this textbook Amanita muscaria while searching for Lactarius deliciosus. There was a huge patch of them. https://slrpnk.net/pictrs/image/fab95f0b-21a8-4e8c-a2da-48c81c3d336d.jpegWe also found some Tricholoma equestre https://slrpnk.net/pictrs/image/73959f63-e6d0-4889-bf9a-8127c49e8e66.jpeg and a bunch of Russula https://slrpnk.net/pictrs/image/988d85e7-8e8f-46d8-93f6-55df1a81d78e.jpeg

Lactarius deliciosus

This name suits a cheese better than a mushroom

Considering the "milk" that the mushrooms of this genus produce it is a good name. And this particular one is really delicious! :)

What area of the world are you in? I live in NE Florida, USA and that last one looks familiar although not sure if it's the same.

Not close, I'm afraid, I found these in Spain. I am certain about the family, but I'm not sure about the species; I could look it up if you want.

Very cool. I'd really like to start to get into iding mushrooms.

Why NSFW?

I screwed up when I posted it, but I thought I managed to edit it out. Is it still flagged as NSFW?

Yes. No problem though. I thought for a minute it was because they were poisonous ;-)
