Question: are the tuition costs higher for international students than they are for Chinese citizens? What kind of scholarship programs exist in China?

For the question regarding tuition, sadly I don't have any oficial document or news that clarifies this so I am unable to answer.

As for the scholarship, there are many types available. Some of them are explained here -> https://www.campuschina.org/scholarships/index.html

In the case of the scholarships available for my country Mexico, those offer:

  • Payment of tuition and fees.
  • Monthly stipend for living expenses.
  • Accommodation: free university residence or accommodation subsidy.
  • Medical insurance.
