Nicaragua will be acquiring from China and Russia modern and advanced technology for the health care of families

The Co-President of the Republic, Rosario Murillo, highlighted the visit of the companies Wandong Medical, from the People's Republic of China, and ROSATOM, from the Russian Federation, with which Nicaragua will be acquiring modern and advanced technology for the health care of families.

"Today we received a visit from the Chinese company Wandong Medical, which designs and manufactures imaging equipment for X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds, MRIs, among others, and for diagnosing various conditions," explained Rosario Murillo.

He stated that "during the visit, they will be working with the Ministry of Health and visiting hospitals throughout the country to develop a program for supplying equipment that will strengthen the capacity of the Government of the People's President to provide care and promote health for Nicaraguan families."

Also, Rosario Murillo mentioned the visit of Ivan Dybov from the Russian Federation.

" And then we also received ROSATOM, the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation , which, headed by our comrade Ivan Dybov, ROSATOM's director for Latin America, is in our Nicaragua, continuing the design, formulation and construction of the Nuclear Medicine Center in our blessed, sovereign, ever free, Christian, socialist and solidarity-based Nicaragua."

He added: "A Nuclear Medicine Center in our Nicaragua. This is how we move forward, not only consolidating progress, but ensuring that we are heading towards that future of recognized and shared rights from this present, which is already a recognized and shared right, working to serve our people better and better."

In her statements, Rosario Murillo expressed: "Our recognition, greetings, and embrace to Dr. Veronika Skvortsova, director of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia."

She added that "ROSATOM will also meet not only with the Ministry of Health and the National Social Security Institute , but also with all the universities, to review the training programs for the staff who will work at the Nuclear Medicine Center."
