Any other country dealing with waves of drones right now?

Belgium has been bullied by drones for the past week or so. Every day new sightings pop up, mostly around military bases, airports and now a nuclear facility. Nobody knows who it is so far. Russia gets blamed.

No real thing like this is happening in The Netherlands. So why Belgium? Any other country dealing with this?

I saw one with my own eyes. Thought that was pretty dope.

It happened in germany a few weeks ago and the government and even lib media used it to basically push for war and slander the "pro-Kremlin bots" protesting in the semi-regular anti-war protests.

I saw that too. German media is getting insanely reactionary but people still believe in it for some reason.

Btw if youre in germany, feel free to help posting in the new germany com on grad because it needs content. Also, german MLs should link up as we are very few so far. Of course to keep feds out we need to leave out any personal details. You can hit me up on dm or genzedong matrix.

ukraine is.

also I am guessing that ukraine or people who want europe to enter the war are responsible for the drone harassment campaign in your country.

Sounds awfully British... It would be very convenient to stage another false flag like the nordstream for the USA to continue shifting the burden of the war on the EU.

it happened twice in denmark in the past few weeks, a lot of times in germany.

german media immediately blamed russia and were constantly reporting on how the military should take measures and we NEED to go to war with russia or some shit.

i don't believe it one bit...

It happened in Denmark a few weeks ago. Someone flew a couple of drones near an airport and a military airstrip and everybody lost their shit.

Idk man, 3i atlas might have the same drone technology as us? 🤷‍♂️

Also saw some tonight. Kinda freaky. Looked triangular, but had regular safety blinking lights.

This happened in New Jersey earlier this year, right?

Those sightings were dismissed as people misidentifying small manned aircraft and falling for mass hysteria. The US government denied that any anomalous activity was taking place, and I can't think of any reason that they'd orchestrate a bunch of sightings only to deny everything.

At least the European sights are functioning as war propaganda against Russia, and if the US really wanted to, they could have claimed that the drones were Chinese or some other insane explanation.

I know people who personally saw the UFOs in New Jersey, and they were NOT small manned aircraft. They were spherical and hovered lol

1
ComradeSalad - 1mon

Yeah… do you know what other things are spherical and hover? Helicopters, commercial drones, weather drones, weather balloons, and hobby drones….

Did the people who saw these drones take any videos or pictures? Because the only evidence that ever surfaced all turned out to be passenger airliners, hobby drones, and small Cessnas. It’s especially funny when the photos or videos show the craft blinking red and green navigation lights, and the thought that aliens or hostile craft would abide by FAA regulations is pretty funny.

I’d be happy to be proven wrong if you’d have other evidence.

Dude I only said I knew people who personally saw the objects. My boss and his wife, and another colleague of mine. They literally saw glowing orbs. My boss and his wife saw the orbs coming out of the water.

They didn’t record it. But I mean as someone who also saw some freaky shit like this, you don’t even think about it tbh.

thats crazy, how big are these drones? does it sound like a beehive above you all day or whats going on?

SlayGuevara - 1mon

Some of them seems to be consumer drone like but there was a sighting of a bigger drone. Not UAV big but larger than a consumer drone. What was interesting to see is that they all have like airplane safety lights on lol. Can't be stealthy if your drone is blinking constantly.

novibe @lemmy.ml - 1mon

But their safety lights are kinda weird aren’t they? They blink more slowly, and there’s a different amount/configuration to them. Never saw anything with lights like that. There’s always drones doing photography and video around here, but these mystery ones looked really different imo.

4
SlayGuevara - 1mon

Yeah I noticed that too. There's an airport nearby so I thought it was just a plane but the lights were brighter, bigger (because it was lower to the ground I guess) but they also flashed in a pattern you usually don't see with planes. Oh and it was just hovering in the air instead of moving. It's a shame I couldn't get a better look with my binocolars as it was too dark outside.

One passed pretty close above my home. At first I thought it was a plane as well, but as it got closer it looked like a weird military drone, a bit triangular with 3 safety lights instead of the usual 2+2 config. The 3 lights all blinked together as well, and super slowly.
