A recent study of 42 countries found that on average, people do not justify their system. The only country where citizens generally believe their system is fair is China.
The results for China may seem surprising, given that China has fairly high income inequality as measured by the Gini coefficient, seeing only marginal reductions in recent years. On the other hand, there have been dramatic material improvements in most people’s lives over the past decade or two.
Another proof that socialism isn't motivated by jealousy. People don't care if somebody else is rich, as long as they have good material conditions

Exactly, inequality is something that should be avoided in the long run. But focusing on that alone is misguided. Chinese leadership was well aware that introducing markets and private ownership would create new contradictions in society, but those were weighed against the benefits. And it's clear that the benefits outweigh the negatives.

One comrade from China says that they still have to fight for better wages and criticize Xi about it. I defend like at least you had the revolution and one of the best event happened in Chinese history. Although, Xi’s father -or grandfather I’m not quite- got purged by Mao and he ran away to country side and years later he still admits Mao and insist on Marxism-Leninism despite Soviet Union being destroyed and he never developed counter revolutionary ideas to avenge his revenge like Trotskyists

Although I'm not well equipped enough to speak on China's internal affairs, I wouldn't be surprised if that were a legitimate issue especially with 996 work culture and such. I don't think this is an issue exclusive to China though — although pointing to Global North countries kind of feels too easy since they set the bar in hell...

I'm sure the libs on other websites will have totally normal responses to this and won't immediately start screaming about Uighurs.
They'll also scream about how this is proof that the west is good because you see people aren't sure if it's fair or not, which is definitely a good thing. While in china they only know lies so they think it's fair when it really isn't.

Hickle actually addresses the second argument at the end where he points out that you have lower score of government in other societies that are more restrictive than China.
