If only manufacturers would release low-level documentation with their devices so anyone could just build their own OS and make the most of their general purpose pocket Computers, but that would be devastating for the economy.

So far, the best solution as a daily driver is lineageOS. Second place but even more potential is postmarketOS. Both dont require google services. Of course ymmv because apps sometimes require those. I cant use mobile payment and parking apps anymore but i'm happy to trade that for a modicum of provacy.
