Through the persistent struggle and sacrificial dedication of our comrades, another gigantic creation conceived and developed by our Party was born as a heart-filling entity here in the Ryonpho district.
Providing this base will play a major role in economic and scientific development for the country, and will serve the people of Hamhung City and South Hamgyong Province, who are suffering from many hardships, supported by the noble will of the Party Central Committee to produce and supply lush, fresh vegetables without interruption. The construction of the Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm was designated as the most important construction policy issue of the year, and a strong construction command and capability were organized to ensure that equipment, materials, and funds were given the top priority.
The promises made to the people and the unwavering will of the Party and the government that projects to promote the welfare of the people must be implemented, no matter what the cost. Even in the worst crisis situation, when it was a matter of life and death for the nation and its people, the sound of construction echoed even more strongly in the Ryonpho region.
Compared to the Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm, the amount of construction was more than double and the due date was only half, but the military builders were determined that they had no right to fall before the realization of our party's innermost desire.
