Exploring the Ethiopian Revolution through René Lefort's 1983 classic "Ethiopia: An Heretical Revolution?"

A good overview but i'm not sure how reliable the book is that is being discussed here, given that its author seems to have a bias against some of the Marxist-Leninist principles underpinning the revolution. It wouldn't surprise me if the author of this book was a Trotskyist at the time of writing, as much of the French and broader Western Marxist left were. René Lefort now writes for "Open Democracy" (liberal imperialist propaganda mouthpiece funded by Soros' Open Society Foundation and the NED) and Le Monde (left-liberal French newspaper). He also was a vocal supporter of the Western backed TPLF terrorists who started a brutal civil war to try to overthrow the Ethiopian government in 2020.
