Any privacy respecting stuff to do livestreams AND get donations? Twitch AND Livepix are screwed up.

The only others I know are kick and whatnot. But I don't know how privacy friendly those are.
What about odyssey? Do they support live streaming?

There is software to do that kind of thing. Putting a black box over your face, altering your voice. All that kind of stuff.

Or you could go low tech. Wear a mask while holding up cards with what you want to say. That'd be cool.

And you want to have some unidentifiable background.

I mean, I wanted to make a live playing games with some web friends

Owncast.

If you have a good connection and are only serving to 3-4 friends you can just run it on your own network. If you need more bandwidth (50-100 watchers) you can use an S3 compatible storage provider or even a CDN if you need to serve a massive audience (billions).

Okay, let's go:

  1. Face and background is already hidden, we are gonna use VTuber like stuff;

  2. Now how do we alter the voice? I mean, most voice filters are easily unmaskeable with some AI or some good editing.

No idea. Never occurred to me to try to publicly live stream myself, while maintaining my privacy. Just seemed counter productive.
