I have never encountered the weird religious types who see holloween as bad. I mean do they do the same with christmass in regard to the tree and mistletoe and such. Like 90% of it is pagan.

The word "Halloween" is short for "All Hallow's Eve", the night before All Hallows Day, which is itself the Christianized version of the Samhain festival, a Gaelic pagan tradition. In other words, it's the exact same situation as Christmas/Saturnalia.
They're protesting against a holiday that Christianity already absorbed.
