What's painful about it? I'm sure those recently freed people are happy and feel a great weight lifted off thier shoulders.

Oh and that 500k number is people who have officially left I wonder how many more there are that just haven't done the paperwork.

Honestly it is good to see some Catholics actually have morals and are appalled by the church's actions. I know most do but I have to admit being disappointed that so few actually do anything about thier churchs' disgusting behaviour.

I don't know what you would call me .... I'm not a full on atheist ... I don't believe in fanciful fairy tales or legends - no matter how old they are ... I don't follow any new age belief professed by some modern day prophet using lots of fancy words and twists of logic ... but I do believe in something ... and that belief in something is not meant to affect the lives of anyone except me
