Wasn't there an issue with the plastic quality of the headpiece? Hopefully solved by now and I remember it was only an issue with a specific color.

I personally had massive issues with the buds (breaking twice within a month). I love my Fairphone(s) but I'll not go back to the buds.

Could be. I have mine now for over 6 months and still going strong. Bought the Fairbuds XL because some parts couldn’t be found for a reasonable price when my last headphones (Sennheiser) gave up (the cushions).

Yes, mine broke like 5 times already in 2 years, which is very annoying as it's always the same part.

But on the other hand, everything else is still as good as new and I use them daily. The sound is very good too in my opinion.

In comparison, my last headphones lasted two years after which everything broke.. and there were no spare parts to buy.

While this is a pretty cool initiative and as far as im aware a first in the industry, I have the inears and the Bluetooth audio does not sync with video and I bought them this year(I didn't think to check because bro, weive in the future). I dont know what Bluetooth this one has, but the upgrade doesn't upgrade its Bluetooth.

Also FYI I got the in ears because the battery is replaceable. However only after getting them did I learn the battery is propriety which is bullshit. It looks like a common cell. But I guess if they discontinue the battery then I'm outta luck anyway.

I'd not recommend them, but I've got em now so will continue to use them.

I’ll have to Check out some teviews. I used to have the Bose quiet comfort at work and i bought a pair for myself after leaving. The noise cancellation and mic sound quality are pretty good. Would be interested how these stack up.

Same. When my Sony XM5 die, I want to replace them with these, but only if ANC and sound quality are as least as good.

Likewise interested to know how they compare. I have a now ancient pair of QC 35 IIs and they were replaced under warranty from original QC35s - sadly the charging connector now has a fault where something in the circuitry stays active, the charging light stays on all the time and it drains the battery quite quickly compared to how it used to. It’s not the power switch. Just one board as a spare part is very expensive so I just live with reduced battery life.

I guess that’s the faults these should solve - if a replacement connector or board is sensibly priced then you’d fix them rather than having to manage as-is, or worse, recycling.
