I was confused thinking "We are not even close to christmas. How is it too late to take the turkey out of the freezer?", but then I remembered the americans are celebrating thanksgiving now.

Yep, we celebrate the dinner we had with mixed company, gaining their trust, making friends…. before we took all of their land.

welp, couldn't expect much from a tradition that started during a colonization :v

Can't forget about the genocide!

It's really weird, actually. Just turn it into a harvest festival like other countries have and drop all the whitewashing about your bloody past. It not like anyone actually cares why they overeat and fight with distant relatives.

Just chuck it in a deep fryer, I'm sure it'll be fine 👍

Too late for what exactly?

Defrost a frozen turkey in time to cook it for Thanksgiving dinner.

It would be spending all night (at least) on the smoker here (I smoke something nice for holidays) to do a turkey

I smoke weed too.

same but that's less of a holiday thing, more of a survival thing.

i've thought about throwing some on but it'd probably need to be like a kilo before it (potentially) started to affect the food. i'm not going through a kilo of weed in one day.

It would be pretty funny to share this again now
