Quentin Tarantino’s complete cut combining Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 follows The Bride, a former assassin who awakens from a four-year coma after being shot by her mentor and lover, Bill. She embarks on a vengeful quest to eliminate Bill and the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad who betrayed her.
So this is not the fan cut I guess. Which was also called „The whole bloody affair“ if I remember correctly.

Doing a bit of digging on this, it seems that Tarantino had created this combined edit of the films explicitly to screen out-of-competition at Cannes in 2003, and had separate cuts for Volume 1 and 2 which is the ones that were released globally and what we're all familiar with.
Reportedly he still had that original 35mm print from Cannes and would screen it here and there from time to time. I suppose the fan edit that's out there was meant to be a recreation of it. But I imagine this film is meant to be that original version from Cannes.
But I could totally be wrong.

Thanks for that. I‘ve seen the fan edit, which also had the fight in color I believe. So somehow that must be available somewhere?

I believe that the fight scene was also left in color in the Japanese release, and that's where they sourced the color fight scene for the fan edit
