It's the kind of thing they use in school in New Zealand (Aotearoa) to teach kids the basics of Te Reo Maori pronunciation. Here's a video with a lesson in pronunciation.
If you want to hear some spoken Te Reo here's a short video which tells the story of the great hero Maui taming the sun.

You're welcome!
If you can track it down there's a 2002 movie called Whale Rider which is a good watch and features some Te Reo as well as portraying some other aspects of traditional Maori culture.

If I follow the Maori hypothesis, I think you would have to rotate the text 180° because it's in the southern hemisphere
So it would mean zzzzzzzz
The fuck if I know

What does “ala teu pai” mean?

GeneralVincent @lemmy.world - 3mon
Portuguese for "look at your father" according to Google translate

Kinda. It's Brazilian Portuguese for "Look, your father" in a very mocking tone.

That's how it rules where I went
what is written?
Means 'lmao'
Apparently means 'no way' in Maori (Google translate with auto detection)
ETA: Google translate is unsurprisingly shit. Thanks to contentedness for taking the time to prove why
Teu pai is also "your dad" in Portuguese. But I'm not aware of "ala" as an expression on Portuguese.
"ala" is the short form of "olha lá" (means "look there")
Fun fact: The Te Reo Maori alphabet doesn't contain the letter "L". So I don't think "ala" could be a valid Maori word at all.

Here's a similar resource used to teach colours.

I guess that's some nazi chant in German.

If it was a German story, someone would have shaved all the heads of all the little snot-noses laughing at him, a la "The Inky Boys"
Fucking skinheads...
