The implication is that God didn't make anyone gay, trans, non-binary, etc., and if any minor claims to be naturally the way they feel they are, MAGA fascists will step in to correct them with God on their side. That's how the original Nazis lived with working in concentration camps committing mass murder too, and like MAGA fascists they also considered themselves good Christians.

25 years ago my super Christian parents knew about trans people and children who identified as trans. There were news shows about trans kids. They didn't care.
I think a lot about how we got here and about how this was inevitable.
