Lol, so as long as this bug isn’t fixed, you can just repost all images that already exist on .ml and then get banned to completely nuke them.

Unfortunately, it's been fixed and closed already (Funny, this issue gets opened, fixed and closed in a matter of days. But fixing the per user instance "block" has to wait...)
Now whether or not .ml is currently running the version with that fix or not... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wait so you cross posted someone's posts from .ml to .ml and got yourself banned and that caused a ton of their posts to get deleted?

Nah, a common complaint in regards to defederating from lemmy.ml like the rest of the triad is that they have a "bunch of niche comms" and "some of the biggest comms on Lemmy" (Which also isn't exactly true, that's only going by subscribers, which means a lot of dead accounts, MAUs is a much better statistic and tells a completely different story)
So in addition to my general calls for boycott of the lemmy.ml instance (because of the toxic culture the admins seek to cultivate, the propaganda they push and the general censorship of rightful criticism of authoritarian regimes that only claim to be communistic (Russia/China) or even NK ) I've been cross-posting all non-Tankie content from .ml comms to the nearest relevant non-.ml no matter how small
But I didn't get banned for that, I got (reinstated, at least, that's a whole other thing though lmao) banned for my last meme on !fedimemes@feddit.uk where I had that small warning blurb for new users as well as all my evidence posts on !meanwhileongrad@sh.itjust.works (instance banned for speech off the .ml instance I might add, just like that Reddit mods of ol) that serves as documentation of the words and actions of admins and mods of .ml
