Knowing it's Texas and the current Trump administration I'm worried there might be some arrests, but I admire your Bravery; Good Luck!
Remember that you are normal if you disaprove of being treated badly because of stuff which doesn't negatively affect other people

While arrests aren't out of the realm of possibility, there are similar protests at the Texas Capitol all the time and they seem to always be peaceful

Yeah, but if one of those trans protesters are green card holders, they'll be disappeared and sent to El Salvador without due process.

Protest 101 talks about managing your personal risk profile. If you're interested or concerned, it might be relaxing to read a few Protest 101 guides, even if you don't plan on doing street protests yourself.
It's teamwork -- More like a football/soccer game where the announcers and crowd are also on team.
Not everyone is a forward. Concessions are not optional.
If the mind is still hungry, there are Occupation and Temporary Autonomous Zone guides to read.

How was it, did you go?

It was good! Fewer people than I was hoping for, but more than I was expecting, if that makes any sense.
Was definitely good being among community and allies, though, and there were a few trans kids that spoke, so I'm especially happy I showed up for them.

Yes! So proud of you and everyone that turned up. I hate that we're the target of some weird obsession as if we're a threat, but while here, it's so good to hold events like this and educational stalls etc.. Like, if the gov won't teach folk, we will haha
It is so nice to see kids in these events, to me they're a monument to who we are as they weren't forced to turn up, and they're a sign that the future can be safe for folk who just want the right to free expression :3
