TBH I enjoy reading a lot of Mainland asian comics like this, but wow are they really bad at narrative writing. Half the stories are just the same story about a frog wanting swan meat but the frog turns out to be the ultimate murderhobo.
Something that always stood out to me is that a lot of Chinese and Koreans subscribe to the "Might Makes Right" philosophy.

also I am noticing that a lot of the Manwha I read isn't even Korean in origin, haha

I think they would just expand the Manwha or manga industries rather than create a new frontier
I read about 40000 pages, apparently, and out of all of them only one manga (Manwha?) was Vietnamese, none Thai, none Filipino
