It is a UI thing I have seen as-well was on other instances. A green square saying report submitted will randomly flash on the lower right corner in desktop mode.

When I submitted the post https://lemmy.blahaj.zone/post/200906 I got a toast message that said "Report created".
Is this a desired feature, or a bug?
