Musk says he's going to launch an "AI game studio" at his xAI startup.

Oh cool an AI game studio, definitely not an obvious rug pull game studio like all the NFT games. Definitely not just a bunch of buzzwords, no talent, sleazy owner, etc...

Of course it is a scam, he's gonna cash out on his audience, just like he's gonna cash out with the government. He's gonna rake in what he can and either exit if it gets hot, or run worse scams if the worst comes to pass.

It's strange how this kind of hoarding is considered a virtue.

Oh boy, I can't wait for the -checks notes- awful tower defense game where you protect castle wolfenstein from the allies

Who cares, there's zero barrier to entry on making games. There are much worse monopolies to worry about than a few big game studios.

Hell, Stardew valley is one of the most popular games, and it is made by one dude.

I'm reminded of the scene in the Sopranos when Chris wants to write a gangster movie about a guy who gets dismembered and then his body parts come back together and he becomes a gangster zombie with a knife for a hand.

There is a 0% chance that the Steam rating for this will be fair.
