Order, which lacks the force of law

do you think the libs will ever figure out that "the rule of law" is a comforting lie we all tell ourselves?

A year in and people are still at the "But, he can't do that!" stage. We are so truly fucked.

The only way to counter this is to organize Fred Hampton style. Put 100% effort into opsec and be ready for serious danger.

Republicans understand Mao much better than liberals. Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun and all the rules and norms and procedures are just embellishments that has been added to make squishy liberals feel better about themselves.

Ah, glad to find out the executive order "lacks the force of law", which means that none of his other executive orders have been enacted or enforced in any way either... Wait, what's this? They have? Oh. Oh...... Well then.

people just don't realize they are basically marching orders to his private army. they can just execute the orders with guns and shit. arrest state regulators. even if the courts get them out of it the process is the punishment

I read somewhere in a book about the third Reich how, during the early days of Nazi rule, confused liberal lawyers and bureaucrats would be completely perplexed about what was happening and would to things like knocking on the door of concentration camps to to say things like "But you can't lock so and so up. That's illegal!", only to be told by guards to fuck off.

Their insistence on liberal niceties was completely inconsequential, of course.

Trump has framed the need for comprehensive AI regulation as both a necessity for the technology’s development and as a means of preventing leftist ideology from infiltrating generative AI– a common conservative grievance among tech leaders such as Elon Musk.

“You can’t go through 50 states. You have to get one approval. Fifty is a disaster. You’ll have one woke state and you’ll have to do all woke,” Trump said at the US-Saudi Investment Forum last month. “You’ll have a couple of wokesters and you don’t wanna do that. You wanna get the AI done.”

Earlier this week, he reiterated that sentiment in a post on Truth Social, saying: “We are beating ALL COUNTRIES at this point in the race, but that won’t last long if we are going to have 50 States, many of them bad actors, involved in RULES and the APPROVAL PROCESS. THERE CAN BE NO DOUBT ABOUT THIS! AI WILL BE DESTROYED IN ITS INFANCY!”
