Disney is going to be shocked (Shocked!) when images come out of Mickey doing 9/11. Plus - of course - no matter how many safeguards they put in place - Disney character porn is 100% guaranteed to happen

Did I call this? I feel like I thought about it, but I don't think I shared this. Disney will start by making AI shorts (some think that some of their shorts are AI written already) and then will start moving onto shows and movies, because it will be cheaper, the actual humans involved in making them will protest, leading to Disney doubling down on AI.
Then they'll either face loss of revenue because of a boycott, or because of people not liking the AI slop, and will approach the US government for a bailout and also probably get some Pinkertons involved to break any strikes and force the actual humans who create actual things back to work, but at less pay and worse hours and hold the AI sword of Damocles over their heads the entire time to prevent them from asking for better working conditions.

Wish 2023 seem to have been made, at least 50%, with AI, it was very generic and some parts was kinda of weird. I believe the recent Call of Duty game was created using literally chatgpt without any editing or retouching.

Turns out all the economic hand wringing about how terrible it is if poor people get any relief is pure projection.
The rich are richer than ever and they’re obsessed with affordability….for capital. They will gladly serve garbage if it means that capital is provided free of charge. Never mind the cascading effects of the people with the money all being way too frugal for their own good.
But sure, poor people not paying 90% of their income in rent alone will cause the literal apocalypse to happen.

I know you're talking about the actual workers behind the scenes but I want to see Oscar Isaac mentally checked out doing Poe Dameron at literal gunpoint in Glurfax Snurb: Rebel Saga: The Resistance: A Star Wars Story: Revisited

So given that courts have ruled that AI content isn't covered by copyright, is Disney effectively putting all of its stuff into the public domain? Anyone getting sued for infringement could just claim they were using Sora output, right?

What’s incredible is that a billion dollars is about a week’s worth of OpenAI’s cash burn.
