Salute to her.

Damarcusart [he/him, comrade/them] - 4day

I just can't believe how shocking this must be for her. She just makes videos to entertain children, because she wants to help and support kids, and then because she has basic human decency and loves children regardless of where they are born, she gets accusations and death threats and all manner of vile people wanting her dead. It must be so surreal for her, I hope it isn't too stressful.

This is what we all feel in complicit countries, right? The shock that whenever you try to say publicly that Palestinian kids don’t deserve to die you risk getting fired and if you protest against the atrocities you get treated as a terrorist and are lucky if the cops don’t inflict permanent damage while beating you up. A lot of people never really get used to this dynamic but we still live with it and we continue to resist.

Yeah I think pre-2023 nobody here would have predicted the backlash would be as severe as it was, from otherwise "thoughtful" "humanistic" liberals. I watched my friends be enthusiastically tased and shot with pepperballs for sitting in a college quad. Then all my other friends voted for Kamala and got mad at me for not doing the same.

Ms Rachel: I want Israeli and Palestinian children to live and be safe and I condemn the Al Qassam Brigade

Al Qassam brigade: She must be protected (also we forgive her)

Ms Rachel: I want Israeli and Palestinian children to live and be safe and I DON'T condemn Israel

Israel: How dare you?! Antisemite of the year!

UmbraVivi [he/him, she/her] - 4day

Ms Rachel is probably a "two state solution vote blue no matter who" turbolib but just the statement of "i think all children deserve to live" is enough to make you a polarizing political figure

roux [they/them, xe/xem] - 4day

If this doesn't radicalize her at least a little bit, I'll be surprised.

Every child and every person. Nothing changes when they get older. For some reason a lot of people who might be sympathetic to kids still think that adults in your own borders are more valuable than people anywhere else.

Someone check up on Eve Fartlow, she sees posts like this and truly believe they're excerpts from Mein Kampf

44
Evilsandwichman [none/use name] - 4day

I wonder if anti-communist zionists get upset they can't just add this to Mein Kampf like they added covid victims to the victims of communism memorial

16
RedSturgeon [she/her] - 4day

They are going to add Ms Rachel to the victims of communism list. Anyone who speaks for the victims of capitalism, is a victim of communist ideology.

Townlately @feddit.nl - 4day

History will vindicate her, of course. But she isn't concerned about that. Legend.

Incredible person

Dort_Owl [they/them, any] - 4day

It's wild to me that this is a controversial statement.

36
Evilsandwichman [none/use name] - 4day

I genuinely hope lots of people are finding it wild that this is a controversial statement

Given you had Hillary go on that (zionist talk show? Convention?) and completely being at odds with the average dem voter position, I'm kind of concerned that her fans will just sway anti-Palestinian kids; at first I thought perhaps people like Hillary are just paid really well to hold the positions she does, but I think her and many like her (including her husband) really are just basically destiny-clone 'classic liberals' who see non-Westerners as just savages to be at best tolerated and worked around

17
thefluffiest @feddit.nl - 4day

Not people, Israeli fascists

33
BeanisBrain [he/him, they/them] - 4day

Israeli fascists and their concern trolling lib enablers, of which they are many.

22
Evilsandwichman [none/use name] - 4day

Now hold on, I'm politically neutral and I'm not taking sides but have you considered that I find non-Westerners scary?

12
DragonBallZinn [he/him, they/them] - 4day

It’s so fucking hard to imagine the brainrot needed to deadass think Ms RACHEL is more of an antisemite than Nick Fuentes.

23
Angelevo @feddit.nl - 4day

Fully agree, feel the same way.
