By now, you may have seen the story making the rounds. It’s about a University of Oklahoma student named Samantha Fulnecky who received a zero on a psychology essay, filed a discrimination complaint, and got her trans graduate instructor placed on administrative leave.
I read the essay it was garbage and deserved a 0 for not even adhering to the assignment let alone being a bigoted screed.

Yup, it was clear to me when this story broke it was a targeted attack with that goal in mind. Very blatant with those posts too, didn't know about them thank you.

Somewhere, right now, a trans person is teaching a class, or coaching a team, or working at a library, or providing health care. They’re doing their job. They’re probably good at it. And at some point, someone is going to have a problem with them. Maybe a parent, maybe a student, maybe a coworker. The problem won’t really be about job performance. The problem will be that they’re trans.
That person, or someone connected to them, will take their grievance to social media. If they’re lucky, Libs of TikTok will pick it up. Or Turning Point. Or one of the other accounts that have built massive followings by turning trans people into content. The post will frame the trans person as a predator, or a groomer, or a bully, or a tyrant. It won’t matter what actually happened. The framing is the point.
Yup, how the fuck am I supposed to live. I just want to live normally. Maybe get some healthcare to treat my dysphoria. But everyone fucking hates me for having it. Fuck sake

Yeah Twitter users have been digging up receipts re: the mom Fulnecky being a perpetual conservative grifter, the TPUSA-OSU Twitter being spun up the Monday before this incident and posts foreshadowing this, and the immediate Fox News appearances. It all seems very contrived and intentional.
Hasan was just going over it on stream, but below is a link to a deeper dive from June AKA Onion Person's podcast. They talk about how manufactured this is and the background's of the people involved, how it fits the right's outrage machine, and how RW media through LibsOfTikTok and Fox News let random bigots hone in on normal trans people living their lives to target for harassment. This is part of a social ecosystem that allows for pushing trans people out of public life, lets conservatives bully academia as an institution, and provides a sort of bigot's veto to conservatives whose views are broadly unpopular but can concentrate their mass of hate in just the right places.
