We're finally at the last season of Friendship is Magic, which I've decided to call the "long goodbye". How are we feeling?

Best Gift Ever

…Is Friendship is Magic's 44 minute holiday special. The Mane Six do a not-Secret Santa (called a Hearth's Warming Helper), and the special follows each character's troubles finding gifts for each other. Discord's in it, too, as is a creature called a Winterchilla, as is a one-off character called Pistachio who I really like. He's a colt who's into fashion.

Spring Breakdown

…Is the first of the three Equestria Girls specials to come out in 2019. The students of Canterlot High are on a cruise ship for spring break, when freaky things start happening. Ties into MLP The Movie.

"The Beginning of the End" (1+2)

…The season 9 premiere is vital setup for the series finale at the end of this season. As you might be able to tell from the thumbnail, a bunch of the old unreformed villains from the past 8 seasons return, with a new villain from G1 to boot. :::
