[ADHD] Misplaced half my prescription for amphetamines, pharmacy won't replace them. Can i just substitute with my leftover vyvanse?
Obviously if the doctor switched me off vyvanse it's not ideal. I'm having serious executive disfunction and it's going to be weeks until they let me refill.
I don't remember the brand name of the one I'm supposed to be taking but if it's important I'll get the chemical name off the bottle.
Priority 1 is still finding the bottle but garbage bag man needs his pills.

why did they stop prescribing vyvanse? unless it was for safety reasons you're probably good. vyvanse is fancy amphetamine anyway.

yes
vyvanse is the same thing but unless I'm remembering incorrectly it's just straight amphetamine like you'd get in adderall but with an extra little bit added to it
the extra little bit needs to be cleaved off by an enzyme, so it's rate limited by the enzyme as to how quickly it's broken down and you feel it
iirc it's supposed to be like 10-12 hour doses but aside from that it's just like Adderall XR (but I think that's something different that is encapsulated to dissolve at different times, no enzyme needed)

Yes, take the vyvanse. It shouldn't hurt you jf you are still being perscribed stimulants
