Hasan Piker foretells not being allowed back into America

"They ain't letting me back in the country [USA] dawg." (03:02:34 Nov 11, 2025)

After picking up the PRC flag from the ground in some exercise of respect, Hasan Piker dusted off the flag before putting it in his pocket.

He then makes a sarcastic comment foretelling his coming struggle getting back in America due to this gesture.

LENINSGHOSTFACEKILLA [he/him] - 1mon

gonna be real, i'd be very surprised if they didn't fuck with him a little bit. like yeah i think he'll be let in but he's gonna get held up and searched for a long time, just to piss him off

44
purpleworm [none/use name] - 1mon

He already got detained at the border once, albeit not for very long or under terrible conditions

38
glimmer_twin [he/him] - 1mon

And he actually answered the fed’s questions lol. What is rule fucken one about talking to cops ffs

9
GalaxyBrain [they/them] - 1mon

He has enough money to keep a lawyer on retainer and really fucking should at this point.

11
sewer_rat_420 [he/him, any] - 1mon

He got detained by CBP a while back, but has done some international travel since then without getting detained.

That being said, his profile is even higher now after the Mamdani election, and this time he will be returning from China, last time it was France.

It is probably 50/50 on whether he gets detained at all, and the length of that detention will most likely be just a few hours again, but who knows. Anything is possible.

29
GrouchyGrouse [he/him] - 1mon

They do it with journalists they don’t like.

27
SorosFootSoldier [he/him, they/them] - 1mon

"They found out about my dog, dude, that I zapped it with 50 thousand volts, straight up Raiden Mortal Kombat II FINISH HIM" hasan-smash

33
thefunkycomitatus [comrade/them, they/them] - 1mon

Seeing Trump tweet something like "Radical communist Hasan Piker, who has been brainwashing our great children, is trying to return to the US after attending communist lessons in China. I am asking customs and immigration to keep him out of our beautiful country!" would be pretty wild.

23
coolusername [none/use name] - 1mon

israeli propagandists are hyperfixated on his every move right now

22
SickSemper [she/her, they/them] - 1mon

Anybody want to put money on this? I bet he gets back fine

21
LeeeroooyJeeenkiiins [none/use name] - 1mon

dude's got money he'll be fine (probably)

14
gay_king_prince_charles [she/her, he/him] - 1mon

Nothing ever happens is always a good bet

5
RedSturgeon [she/her] - 1mon

Why wouldn't they let him back in? Didn't he cancel his Cuba trip because he got scared of this exact scenario?

18
bdonvr @thelemmy.club - 1mon

Honestly after reading all the regulations I was spooked coming back from Cuba lmao

Apparently the Treasury can still demand to see all my receipts for 5 years

15
Hyper_red [she/her, she/her] - 1mon

Isn't a good thing that there is a popular voice normalizing China to westerners?

Like I think he's too much of democratic socialist and I dislike how he focuses so much on electroralism and doesn't cover shit like the vanguard party and stuff, but isn't doing things like being pro Palestine, pro china, anti-western imperialism generally good for getting people to become actual Marxist Leninists. Its not like everyone started out as a hardcore ML, a lot of people start somewhere

17
kristina [she/her] - 1mon

I kinda hope they don't, just keep him in China so he can be a more useful leftist costanza-maoist

15
GalaxyBrain [they/them] - 1mon

Im Hasan ambivalent but considering his profile level and the fact he does have some cash, he should have a lawyer on retainer if hes gonna poke the bear and leave the country if he's committed to remaining. Seems naive not to load up as much legal protection you can if you have the means to do so and are a public figure.

13
YEP [he/him] - 1mon

He is represented by one of the big Hollywood agencies I always thought they have people on retainer that help w this stuff.

21
GalaxyBrain [they/them] - 1mon

I would also figure that would come with thst sort of deal.

9
lib1 [comrade/them] - 1mon

So what he would just be in exile? A person without a home country? Is there precedent for that in the US?

11
glimmer_twin [he/him] - 1mon

And nothing of value was lost

11
CyborgMarx [any, any] - 1mon

Aside from the loudest pro-Palestinian voice in the US, who just two days ago in a debate with a cohort of centrist ghouls blasted the Bill Clinton "Judea and Samaria" racist rant from last year to the thunderous applause of an entire auditorium

28
glimmer_twin [he/him] - 1mon

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, being on the right side of the Palestinian genocide is literally the lowest ideological/moral bar possible. Literally evil freaks like Marjorie Taylor green have fallen ass backwards into being against the genocide.

Where is Hasan Piker, hero of anti-imperialism, when it comes time to debate whether “The Left(tm)” should uplift a guy who signed up to slaughter his way across the Middle East in the name of American empire not once, not twice, not three times, not four times, but FIVE times? Dutifully performing his role of sheepdogging people into the Democratic Party, and tricking people like yourself into having the shortest possible idea of where the political horizon could be - while helpfully propping up your deep seated sense of American exceptionalism and liberalism.

14
CyborgMarx [any, any] - 1mon

Trivalizing pro-Palestinian activism and for what, cause of your personnel crusade against the dipshit, cracker, maybe-a-nazi/maybe not idiot marine from Maine? Trashing leftists over sideshow flyover state election bullshit

And all that despite the fact Hasan passed your test when he the spent the whole week of that controversy bashing Platner, calling him a "unacceptable dipshit" and "incredible dumbass" and stating he wouldn't offer a kind word in his direction until Platber clarifies without doubt his position on American imperialism

No that's not good enough, cause we all have to subscribe to your idiosyncratic conspiracy theory about Manchurian candinate neo nazis and if we end up bashing AIPAC's number one media enemy then so be it right? Cause we got our priorities straight

Dutifully performing his role of sheepdogging people into the Democratic Party

Dude spends most of his streams bashing the dnc and calling the dems controlled opposition, but he's "sheepdogging" right?

and tricking people like yourself into having the shortest possible idea of where the political horizon could be

You're not looking at any poltical horizons, you're staring off into space screaming at a constellation that resembles Hasan's face

30
glimmer_twin [he/him] - 1mon

Trashing leftists over sideshow flyover state election bullshit

I’m not trashing leftists, I have issues with a liberal political commentator being held up as the beyond reproach saviour and sole hope of socialism in America.

your idiosyncratic conspiracy theory about Manchurian candinate neo nazis

You must be confusing me with someone else, at no point did I say Platner was a neo Nazi or a Manchurian candidate. I (paraphrasing) called him a willing and unrepentant tool of American imperialism.

“Screaming at a constellation that resembles Hasan’s face?” Do you hear yourself lol. You seem confused that I am some sort of Hasan obsessive. I just don’t like opportunism (which is also why you and I keep getting into disagreements). I also think the so-called left (better stated as “the working class movement”) deserves better thought leaders (or god forbid actual organisers) than “radical liberal who reads articles and yells at his computer 12 hours a day”.

Again, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out which side of the genocide question to be on. On most other ideological, theoretical, organisational matters Piker is shown to be not up to the task. The way some of you folks defend him it’s like he was the second coming of Lenin. I really think we could do a lot better, and if we don’t critique what’s in front of us how will that be achieved?

13
CyborgMarx [any, any] - 1mon

I have issues with a liberal political commentator being held up as the beyond reproach saviour and sole hope of socialism in America.

He's not beyond reproach, just don't lie about his takes or downplay his role and reach in radicalizing millions of Americans

He's stupidly too charitable with his reactionary enemies and he relies on liberal sources for his Ukraine takes despite having the correct take about NATO in general, it's contradictory

Wow how easy was that, I didn't need to make shit up or insult other leftists over them stanning his leading role in normalizing pro-Palestinian activism

You seem confused that I am some sort of Hasan obsessive. I just don’t like opportunism (which is also why you and I keep getting into disagreements)

None of you have ever demonstrated or proved this supposed "opportunism" you all just make shit up, misrepresent his real takes or worst of all promote Destiny smear campaigns (which is the real reason I will always come down on your heads when it comes to Hasan bashing)

Every time I point this shit out you all end up having the wildest crash outs and throwing out bizarre accusations or dumb lines like "Marx is rolling in his grave"

Sorry, but when it comes to Hasan, you guys are simply delusional and negatively primed in weird parasocial ways

Hasan is an effective radicalizer, not toward liberalism, but toward socialism and his next two weeks in China is gonna demonstrate that fact for you doomers

19
SickSemper [she/her, they/them] - 1mon

It’s always pro Palestine and never anti Zionist. How curious, I wonder what’s Hasan’s position on West Bank settlers is (he thinks there’s too many to decolonize so a one state is needed to not uproot the colonizers from stolen land). I wonder why people keep calling out me using Marx’s name when all I do is defend liberals and call everyone who critiques them ultra larpers

6
kristina [she/her] - 1mon

Dw this poster thinks Hasan is the most important figure ever, if you're actively engaged in making sure trans people arent homeless that is considered less important, by that person's words. Already discussed this with them, just ignore the ramblings, their opinions aren't grounded and are entirely parasocial.

Does Hasan do some useful agitation ?Maybe. Are there better things he could focus on with all of his cash? Absolutely.

5
glimmer_twin [he/him] - 1mon

classic

4
Ram_The_Manparts [he/him] - 1mon

You really have to wonder why this radlib clown hasn't been banned yet

4
la_tasalana_intissari_mata [comrade/them] - 1mon

debating and getting a thunderous applesauce wow very valuable

9
CyborgMarx [any, any] - 1mon

So advocacy, normalization and agitation is worthless according to you? Propaganda is just meaningless?

Yeah what a fraud, why isn't this Twitch streamer leading the vanguard workers party into a martial conflict with the state, the fool

At this point Hasan haters on this site are indistinguishable from vaush or destiny stans

16
glimmer_twin [he/him] - 1mon

Yeah what a fraud, why isn't this Twitch streamer leading the vanguard workers party into a martial conflict with the state, the fool

You love this particular false dichotomy huh.

10
CyborgMarx [any, any] - 1mon

It's not a dichotomy, it's the implication and expectation the anti-Hasan battalion keeps alluding to everytime you trash Hasan over bullshit, obviously when someone just says the take out loud it sounds real goofy af doesn't it

Meanwhile I'm back on planet earth happy there's at least one prominent leftist voice normalizing Palestinian liberation, wild how realistic expectations saves you from taking embarrassing ass takes seriously

17
glimmer_twin [he/him] - 1mon

Marx would roll in his grave to see people like you invoking his name lol

6
CyborgMarx [any, any] - 1mon

lmao that is like the fifth time people from your clique have spat that line out, did you all workshop that bit in a discord or something?

I read the man, I don't worship him and I definitely don't remember sectarian utopian navel gazing being among his prescriptions

13
Ram_The_Manparts [he/him] - 1mon

At this point Hasan haters on this site are indistinguishable from vaush or destiny stans

Holy shit the irony picard

9
CyborgMarx [any, any] - 1mon

We literally had to create a pinned warning because you dummies kept linking to r/LSF to bash Hasan

lmao like don't even front, you larpers showed your whole ass during the "dog collar" saga

12
Ram_The_Manparts [he/him] - 1mon

I was literally one of the people who called out the LSF posters, get the fuck over yourself

2
CyborgMarx [any, any] - 1mon

You were one of the people who created the atmosphere that led people to get comfortable enough to post that shit, how about you get the fuck over your reactionary attitude about Hasan

1
la_tasalana_intissari_mata [comrade/them] - 1mon

he was also doing propaganda effort for plantir, the nazi pooper soldier

8
SickSemper [she/her, they/them] - 1mon

Don’t even bother with this user. They will throw the entire global south under the bus if it means getting healthcare for Americans

7
Krem [he/him, they/them] - 1mon

IDK, seems like China lost some valuable empty space that is now occupied by some generic USian "content creator" or bideo bame streamer or whatever this guy does

7
Ram_The_Manparts [he/him] - 1mon

Wonder if he's gonna go to Xinjiang to stop the cUltUrAl gEnOciDe he thinks is going on there lol

6
CyborgMarx [any, any] - 1mon

He literally doesn't think that's a thing

22
WokePalpatine [he/him] - 1mon

At least in 2021 he was entertaining it. I don't really watch him, but he's kinda' soft on things like this to appease his liberal audience. Maybe he's recounted this point, but here he's reading an AP article about Uyghurs and doing the Han Chinese cultural genocide thing.

https://youtu.be/wxFVm3-he8g?t=3105

7
CyborgMarx [any, any] - 1mon

Well that sure as shit isn't his take now

12
RomCom1989 [he/him, any] - 1mon

I think his take now is that they did war on terror shit America-style(derogatory)and that it was an overreach

10
glimmer_twin [he/him] - 1mon

But hasan loves the war on terror right? I mean I assume so considering he’s spent a month yelling about how awesome Graham Platner is. Graham basically dedicated his life to helping perpetrate that particular crime against humanity.

7
RomCom1989 [he/him, any] - 1mon

I haven't familiarized myself with the extent of his support, though I obviously don't agree with it

I simply think he does more good than harm, and the weird ass dunking that sprouts up every now and then on here, when unprompted,is just silly. Agree or disagree, but I think his overall message is positive and he fills a valuable space, even if he's more Dem than soc

Guy already has the worst people trying to make him persona non grata, why exactly should we bother constantly shitting on him even when he hasn't done something egregious? I don't know,I guess I just don't vibe with the "anti-streameritis" some people seem to have on here

17
Ram_The_Manparts [he/him] - 1mon

Prove it.

3
MohammedTheCommunistPalestinian [he/him] - 1mon

unironically it's bad empanada who thinks that

1
MohammedTheCommunistPalestinian [he/him] - 1mon

dumbest comment I have seen on hexebear
