More than 600 employees at Yosemite and Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks have unionized.
The vote to organize comes after National Park Service endured mass firings and staff departures, affecting morale of employees.

glad to hear it included the seasonals, they make up the bulk of the workforce at the parks. people who work at partner organizations and do the same work as park employees but without the gov benefits (time off, etc) are another pretty large chunk of the workforce at parks and i hope they are next
