Since my last post about https://piratefeeds.net/ I've added a lot of cool new feeds to the site. I've gotta hand it to , they really came through with the donations. We now have a bunch of high demand feeds: TrueAnon, Trashfuture, Trillbilly, and a dozen more!
We've had issues with Patreon blocking some of the feeds due to detected sharing, but I've since updated the system to hopefully prevent this from happening in the future. Currently, most of the feeds are up and running, some redirect to working feeds on https://jumble.top/, and some are still unavailable until I get a new link donated.

NOTE: some users apparently can't resolve the domain. Best guess is some ISPs/DNS servers are blocking the site as part of anti-piracy filters. If that's your case try setting your DNS server to a big one like Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 or Google's 8.8.8.8. Alternatively using a VPN seems to fix it.

The Jumble feedlist has been great historically and I will forever remain grateful for it, but it is down so much now, another source for feeds is very welcome. Since it seems like the jumble.top site itself may not even be around much longer (more and more downtime, no response from Jumble on either platform), I'd say you set this up just in time.
I also think this post should get a comm sticky along with the original Jumble post. More visibility will mean more feed donations and more people able to benefit from the fresher slop source. Even if jumble.top were still consistently up and usable, the existence of an alternative trough is alone worth a sticky imo. But as things are now, piratefeeds.net may be our best and only hope for continued, reliable feeding! We are being saved from potential slop starvation, a fate I don't want to contemplate, let alone meet.

Could be better if people just realize that they don't have to listen to a podcast if they don't like it. Never been simpler. Maybe OP could reach to them and try to host supportingcast's podcast on their server.

Just checked Podking's Soulseek, I don't see any of the pods I've had donated from SupportingCast. Either way Soulseek doesn't work as a hosting platform for RSS feed media, Podking would have to set up a webserver of some kind which I'm guessing they don't want to do.

Thank you so much @21Gramsci!! Just fyi, the wtyppod feed looks to be the same as was on jumble.top, and it hasn't been updated since May. The ankino feed seems to still be working somehow, and their bonus eps are easily discoverable on youtube i think so it's not a big deal but just so you know.

The feed isn't broken, they just haven't posted new audio-only bonus episodes since May 20th. On the actual Patreon page after that they only have the live show recording, but that's a video and doesn't show up in the audio-only feed. Not sure what the ankino feed you're referencing is...

Two columns wouldn't work on mobile. I could serve different pages based on device but I'm lazy and that seems like a lot of work right now.
Numerated entries are a good idea, but the numbering would change every time I add/remove feeds if I want to stick to alphabetical ordering, which kinda defeats the purpose.
For last update do you mean last time the feeds were fetched or last time I modified the index page?
New podcast highlighting would be nice indeed, but it would probably have to be manual.
My first general problem is that right now I'm serving a static page with a reverse proxy, so it's difficult to implement backend logic. The second problem is that I
am not a frontend dev

hate frontend dev.
If someone has suggestions on how I could implement stuff like this without moving to a web app with a backend I'm all ears.

Hmmm you might be right about RWN, I think I got it confused because people were asking for it. Citations Needed definitely has Patreon-only content though, like the news briefs and newsletters.

RWN have a free feed, but it is a small subset of episodes. The reason people think it is that they self host their feed on exiledonline.com and the patreon posts just point to it. So it bypasses all of the patreon protections and personal feeds so that their subscriber feeds are much more easily found and appear in podcasts apps listing of feeds. I found RWN in my podcast app's search of free feeds, and it took me months to realize that that was the private feed, just someone listed the feed address in the app's index.

Oh wow, you're right! They have a single premium feed URL that all Patreon subscribers get access to, and obviously it's been leaked. You can find it on the Fyyd index which many podcast apps use for search. I added it to the site as well now, thanks for the tip!

I'm afraid not, unless it turns out they publish a premium feed on a different platform that's less strict about feed sharing.
To get the SupportingCasts feed to work I would probably need to implement proxying and caching for the media files, which would require:
a bunch of time and effort that I don't really want to put into it right now
extra costs for additional server bandwidth, which I don't wanna pay for myself on top of the current costs
a throwaway premium subscription that I can play around with, without fear of getting someone's account banned.
If somebody wants to sponsor that work I might consider it, but otherwise I don't plan on working on that right now.

Yeah I don't how substack feeds work, if they're user-specific like SupportingCast ones. I would need multiple different feeds for the same pod to figure that out. For now I'll stick with Patreon ones.

I don't see it, the feed looks fine for me. Are you sure you're subbed to the piratefeeds.net feed? Some time ago I was redirecting to Jumble's feed because I didn't have a working link, and theirs seems to be broken indeed.

Hmmm you might be right about RWN, I think I got it confused because people were asking for it. Citations Needed definitely has Patreon-only content though, like the news briefs and newsletters.
RWN have a free feed, but it is a small subset of episodes. The reason people think it is that they self host their feed on exiledonline.com and the patreon posts just point to it. So it bypasses all of the patreon protections and personal feeds so that their subscriber feeds are much more easily found and appear in podcasts apps listing of feeds. I found RWN in my podcast app's search of free feeds, and it took me months to realize that that was the private feed, just someone listed the feed address in the app's index.
Oh wow, you're right! They have a single premium feed URL that all Patreon subscribers get access to, and obviously it's been leaked. You can find it on the Fyyd index which many podcast apps use for search. I added it to the site as well now, thanks for the tip!

I'm afraid not, unless it turns out they publish a premium feed on a different platform that's less strict about feed sharing.
To get the SupportingCasts feed to work I would probably need to implement proxying and caching for the media files, which would require:

Nah, some users have this problem. I think some ISPs are blocking the domain, possibly as part of some anti-piracy filter. Using a VPN seems to work, or just setting your DNS to something like 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1

Update: it looks like this pod isn't hosted on Patreon. As far as I can see the premium episodes are only on Substack and Spotify which is kind of a bummer.

I don't have a $10 feed for TF right now, if I had it I'd put it up. I have 2 and they're both on the $5 tier. If somebody was kind enough to donate another $10 TF feed I'd put it up immediately.
