I knew NPR people were insufferable libs but I had no idea what a ghoul Steve Inskeep is. He does comedy-horror dystopia yet it's real.

yeah, I especially hated the end of the interview where Innskeep reiterates the response he was fishing for ("oh, so you would leave gaza if you could ") then abruptly ends it.

it's hard to even make an analogy what it's "like" because i don't think a genocide sponsor has ever so personally and publicly done this kind of charade of journalism to a victim
it's like a comic that'd feature in der sturmer come to life

Anger—real, visceral anger—is not an emotion I feel frequently, but this had me shaking with rage when I first heard it. Even a few days later I can't even properly formulate a comment because I can't think straight when recalling the contents of the interview. I knew NPR was bad, having gone through an NPR phase during and a bit after the 2016 campaign season where I listened to the morning and evening shows religiously, but this is beyond the pale. Like, I'm used to them having on some scumfuck politician and giving zero pushback on all of the terrible stuff they say, parroting every State Department talking point, and doing a bunch of fearmongering for the most milquetoast progressive positions, but doing this directly to someone in the middle of a genocide desperately clinging to life is beyond the pale. And this ghoul takes home HALF A MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR for his faithful performance.

Yup. Dying Gazans Criticized For Not Using Last Words To Condemn Hamas
NPR has always been a psyop IMHO
