Does this method take the sugar out? It not be careful, because holding sugar in your miuth can damage your teeth (Source: this happened to me with sublingual tablets)
That explains the sweetness... Which makes them impossible to do under my tongue because it sets my saliva glands to fire hose lol. The stickies are not as concentrated and you don't put them on your teeth though, so you won't have to worry about getting a cavity.

I believe placebo tablets are made of sugar/sugars so there is a very real possibility here, but maybe it depends on the tablet

I just looked at the packaging, no sugar in the guar gum. 10 calories from carbs only. But you stick it above your teeth on your gums.

There's sugar in the tablets. That's why they're sweet. I used to put em under my tognue when I went to bed
