I really want people to understand that just because you are of a marginalized identity or experience, that doesn't mean that you're magically exempt from being an oppressor...
It seems like intersectionality is practically non-existent in 99% of leftist spaces, so not so shockingly, I end up having to see people act like women can't be oppressors because they're talking about this oversimplistic "women vs. men" dynamic rather than capturing the whole scope of how people can oppress others.
Same thing goes for queer people, and yes, even POC. In fact, as a Black queer person, I've experienced queerphobia from Black cishet people and racism from white queer people. But all my other family outside the US is Catholic and doesn't rock with Trump, largely for moral and religious reasons (many of these people are reactionaries, too, so even despite their reactionary ideology they still don't like Trump mostly because they perceive him as not aligned with their values)

The country is thrown into a hellhole, corrupt leaders are treated as celebrated heroes when most of the population can’t stand them, and then the NATO countries take all the resources after getting what they want politically. But in situations like work it would I think work well to casually flip it and play dumb if they notice or say something. That being said, my workplace is generally very progressive so I don't think I'll get pushback because then their reactionary thinking will have to be explained explicitly but I don't want to start issues either by directly calling them out. Might also work great if some males say something to me at a bar or something.

Season 1 is phenomenal and season 2 wasn't as good (it's hard to top S1) but was also still pretty good. I've been liking season 3 so far (episode 4 comes out Thursday/Friday at midnight).
The showrunners have said they only plan on doing 4 or 5 seasons and any more than that is stretching out too far. There's also a lot of foreshadowing and clues sprinkled throughout each season, often referencing something else, so it seems like they're planning ahead and not winging it. For example, season 1's ending is given away in the pilot episode, referenced again twice more before the finale, then it all clicks into place in the last few scenes of the season.
There's been other stuff in season 2 that was foreshadowed in season 1 and season 3 is heading the same direction. The show benefits from re-watches. Although, I'm not one of those obsessives that rewatch the whole thing weekly between episodes. People were doing that during the first 2 seasons.
Like its prequel television series, “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” the newest MCU film, “Captain America: Brave New World,” hopes to explain why a Black man would want to represent a country that has so rarely protected people who look like him.
