Anyway, I think there's a later episode which isn't as bad (low bar), which is what the dad in this scenario could be talking about. I don't remember it that well, but at the time I remember sighing at the start of the episode and then by the end perhaps being a little charitable in interpreting the moral of the episode as 'gender dysphoria is serious and a good solution is supportive transition.'
EDIT: haven't seen the episode in a long long time so who knows

However, anybody who knows the Book of Mormon will tell you that there is no alternate reading that makes them not racist. Mark of Cain has some leeway, Bible never specifies too much on that.
