I decided to add some music to my Plex server in October. Set Lidarr rolling with my last.fm account as a source for inspiration and two months later it has the better part of 70,000 tracks imported.
That's around 750 tracks added per day. If this trend continues.... ayyy

Yeah, it works quite well.
I have Navidrome setup as well so any Subsonic-compatible player will work too. Plexamp does seem the best at following a natural curve of genres (depending on which "DJ" mode you select) - relatively gracefully going from rock to metal to punk type deal instead of straight from say, a trance track to death metal to Spice Girls or whatever.

Haha yeah, I love me my FOSS things, and all about them, but similar experience to yourself among a bunch of other things, plexamp is currently the best in class and why I also use it! Love hearing about your the things you are doing with your slightly high spec home server 😂
