Buses came into service in 2000 with this wording already on them.
Wording declared a breach in 2025.
Operational lifespan of said buses: 25 years.
Cool. Awesome. Way to do absolutely nothing. AdStandards being useless as ever.

tbf it was 20 years ago and they really did think the gas was cleaner and greener and was home grown (and also cheaper than petrol) but hybrids and EV's have trounced it in every way.
It was also said that LPG ran cleaner and didn't emit as many emissions as petrol and diesel cars. Every litre of petrol burned puts out 2.3kg of CO2, while the same amount of LPG produces only 1.5kg of CO2, and emits up to 63 per cent less nitrogen oxide (NOx) – and even less when compared to diesel.
There's also the sourcing of LPG. Whereas oil for petrol is sourced from overseas, which heavily pollutes the air from the carrier ships, LPG is sourced from Australia's rich natural gas deposits.
It highlighted Adelaide Metro was now replacing its bus fleet with electric vehicles that it described as “better for the environment”.
This is really good to see at least:
The South Australian Government has ordered sixty brand new 100 per cent full battery electric buses, as well as appointing two global engineering advisory firms to develop detailed planning towards creating a zero emission passenger transport network.
The new bus fleet’s bodies are being built by Australian bus manufacturer Volgren, with infrastructure to charge the buses being installed at the Morphettville depot.
The 60 buses are on order from supplier Scania to be delivered progressively throughout the second half of 2025 and early 2026. There is currently just one full battery electric bus operating on the network, after a successful trial.
