I had a five minute walk to the ferry from where I parked my car. That was at about 3 pm when it fully hit. It was not fun. Possibly the wettest I've ever been from rain. I had to walk in the middle of the road at one point to avoid a puddle, the middle of the road was about eight inches deep.
It was nice to get home, showered and dried off, the wine was pleasant too.
