Thanks. I really enjoy sketching now. The hands are usually mine, but I've been using Line of Action set to shorter times to try to improve the gesture, framework stage....not too much luck as yet, but it's fun.

I figured out the sleep issue.
It'll take a few more days to settle down but I slept for 4 hours in a row without having gone to the gym which hasnt happened in 18 months.
Feels weird to be relatively well rested.

Movin' Right Along and Can You Picture That? are my favourite songs! And the film is great! They had Dom Deluis, Steve Martin, Mel Brookes, Bob Hope, Orson Welles, just such a star studded cast! And the muppeteers are just legends, Frank Oz and Jim Henson are fucking awesome!

My selection in the workplace sweep came in 23rd.
My personal selections (I picked the first three, with no money riding on it) came in last, 16th and 21st. This is why I don't put money on my selections. It probably doesn't help that my selections are based entirely on what colours the jockeys are wearing.

Just got back from my beach walk. The bay resembled the Yarra for first the 100m or so from the shore.

the water made little waves coming up on the shore, the water is normally so quiet and gentle that the sound of the waves was very welcome and calming
and the water is always very sandy at high tide, a lot of churn and most shells are buried by the time it's slack tide
so one becomes expert at recognising shells from the bits that stick out the sand
wind turned, the small fishing boats were racing back in and the seagulls went into the park, storm coming, I hied home
