Couldn't get on yesterday, not sure if everyone was having issues or just me.
Anyway, I picked up a Thai style pork loin from aldi and slapped it on the barbie, along with some grilled Pak choy and sauteed veggies. Was pretty good, will likely chuck a couple in the freezer before they go away! 😋

Sounds good! I could never get my crew into a steak and kidney pie though 😒. We've been into the aldi elmsbury pies lately, the missus and daughter like the chicken and camembert and I like the sous vide beef. They're pretty good and easy to cook on a Friday night with a wine in one hand! 😉

I've noticed these fray bentos in the shops, pie in a can is certainly an interesting one!
These tinned pies tasty? Worth a mild-pie-liker's time?

Fray Bentos have been around for donkeys years but it's still pie in a can so it's not gourmet and not like a bakery pie. Think braised steak and onions in a can.
I airfried it and it came out good. My motto in life is give it ago cos you never know you might like it (or you might hate it) but atleast you tried it.

I crumbed some chicken breast (cut into nugget sized pieces) and served with broccoli and green beans. I also for some reason cooked some jasmine rice. I was tired and not concentrating and thought at one point, why am I cooking rice? 🤷🏼♀️ I don't know, but it was tasty anyway.

It was Butter Chicken tonight, we're in the busy part of the week, so have pre-made a big batch of Butter Chicken for both Monday and Tuesday. The kids ate it all up tonight, which was a nice change. Lets see if lightning strikes twice tomorrow!
