Yes, but also we keep voting for this :/ Which is somewhat understandable given the right wing propaganda we have, but still. Our voting system is actually pretty great, so we do also have ourselves (collectively) to blame.
Though I suppose the CIA would probably step in if we got too many ideas.
The Greens have indicated they are unlikely to support the federal government's overhauled environmental protection laws after it decided to exclude a climate trigger.
Good on them.

As much as the Greens are pretty bad at politics (and have an anti-democratic internal party structure), it'd be pretty shocking if they supported this.
It's why I still preference them over Labor despite their flaws.
