Some odd selections here. Not sure what Frizell and Young did wrong. Not sure why they want a fullback on the bench, either.

Hopefully Freddy's last game as coach. Insane that teddy and jac are still there, no Dylan Edwards, with gutho and Drinkwater on the bench.

Gutho will get the nicho treatment, he'll probably come on the 78th minute.

Who do you reckon they would give the job to?

Good question, unsure who would be willing to take it at this point. But one things certain it can't be Freddy.

As a QLD supporter, I was really happy to see Slater take over the role and think he's been doing a great job. I'd like to see NSW go the same way (because I want my team to win even when yours is at their best).

Almost every Origin player and almost every Origin team is good enough to win as long as they're not killed by bad luck (injury, bunker, etc). It's usually the team that puts in the most effort that comes out on top for at least two of the three games. You don't win origin with skill or tactics.

Find a recently retired player with a good head for the game but most importantly someone the current generation of players respect. Michael Ennis for example.

Drinkwater is 18th man btw. Agree with the rest apart from hoping it's freddy's last game as coach - I'm a Queenslander so I hope they sign him for another 10 years haha
