I tried to play the triangle at school once and couldn't even do that lol.
Have you mapped something like addicitive drums or SD3 etc. to the kit?
5
Rusty Raven - 3mon
I spoke to the percussioninsts from the MSO once, they said the triangle is actually one of the hardest instruments to do really well. So you should never feel shame at not mastering such a difficult instrument!
6
Bottom_racer - 3mon
ohh.. that makes me feel a bit better heh.
5
CEOofmyhouse56 - 3mon
You gotta start with the maracas before you can master the triangle.
4
Gibsonhasafluffybutt - 3mon
Man I had zero musicality till I was like 16ish.
Yep mapped superior to it. It already has a preset for the kit so itโs all mapped with velocity zones.
But today Iโm going to try mapping Battery or a cinematic drums kontakt instrument.
That will hopefully be fun as fuck!
3
Bottom_racer - 3mon
Ooh nice. that's handy with the mapping. I've only tried toontracks EZ drummer. Apparently people reckon SD4 might be out 2026 which I'm sure will be on AN a few days after release lol.
3
Gibsonhasafluffybutt - 3mon
Itโll be there before it officially releases hahaha
Superior is amazing. The expansions are like 60+gig each and some are over 100gb.
Itโs got a great groove pool which you can click on a kit with the mouse and itโll try to find grooves like what you did.
But it doesnโt have the ezdrummer 3 feature where it can play along with you.

Forgot a poo bag and only realised when doge started sniffing around. Turned it into a short run instead of a walk, and fortunately no bowel movements were made. Haven't really ever run before, and so I'm considering doing C25k. Dog likes running, maybe he would want to join too. I think the fun in him walking though is sniffing stuff.

I braved the wind to spread out a couple more bales of mulch. Miss Meow helped (well, she was outside at the same time I was, which is close enough for a cat). I'm going to need a lot more mulch than I thought I would, I very much miscalculated how much coverage I would get.

I bought a handmade hand painted large pottery jug from the op shop last week, 6 bucks. I just thought it was painted so beautifully. I'm not kidding.
I finally deciphered the signature underneath. G Irvine. No clue who that is. Looked it up. ๐คฏ
here's a pic, tho it's hard t see the beauty of it, how the painting uses the shape of the jug.

Greg was a mate of my mum - they shared art classes and he used to come to dinner at our place back when I was a kid. His work is quite collectable, so I think you've scored a win here. Could be worth a few hundred dollaries at auction.
