The weekend has been a boozy one. I also helped a friend build a fair bit of flat pack furniture. I haven't done that for decades I realise. So it was nice to actually achieve something.
Here's hoping for a pleasant week for all of us.

FML. Got to the servo with an empty fuel tank. As in it was registering that I had no kilometres of fuel left. I have a locking petrol cap. For some reason I don't have the key to it on my keyring. Panic ensued and a frantic search in nooks and crannies happened. The search was fruitless however.
Fortunately a mate had just driven past and beeped me. I phoned him up and he came back and brought me to work. What a start to the day/week. My car is parked at the servo. FML.

Damn, what year model car is it to still have a locking fuel cap? It's gotta either be pre-2000, or a current year Landcruiser. And probably next year's Landcruiser too. Can't update too many things at once on those old girls, the sootyboi fans get mad.

Oh it's got the flap that you release from inside but the locking cap is an aftermarket one.
Fuel theft is rife on Russell Island if you leave your car overnight. It's currently on the mainland but it gives me a sense of security.
