Agreed. Hopefully they can repeat this success in the following years to come to show that it wasn't a fluke. My motivation for posting it here was to provoke discussion about the feasibility of doing something like this somewhere in Australia.

Yes well maybe we can set the bar a bit lower by starting with a town of say... 500 people.

Edit: Who am I kidding. We probably need to start with a ghost town.

I think we have shot in cities if we separate cyclists. In rural areas we have no hope. Lots of bored kids getting drunk and driving too fast. You can't legislate away stupid.
